How We Turned the Compressor’s Process Into a Logo
Reading time: 2 minutes
Client
Veltex — an international manufacturing company that has been producing high-tech compressor and gas separation equipment since 2014. In less than a decade, the company has become a recognized expert in the industrial technology market.
Veltex provides a full cycle of services — from the design and production of nitrogen and air stations to commissioning and after-sales service — all in line with international quality standards.
Challenge
The goal was to create a corporate identity that reflects Veltex’s high-tech engineering essence and visually translates the core principles of compressor operation. It was crucial to avoid generic industrial imagery and design a distinctive symbol that communicates expertise, innovation, and motion.
Solution
We developed a logo where every element visualizes the company’s core processes. At the heart of the design is a bold, stable typeface combined with a graphic "V" element — a metaphor for the path of air through the compressor: from intake to compression to output.
The gradient transitions represent the circulation and transformation of air inside the system.
The square above the wordmark symbolizes the compression stage, its outline echoing the geometric rhythm of the main symbol — a metaphor for the final product output.
Thus, the logo became not just a mark, but a schematic representation of engineering flow — a visual story of how technology works.
Execution
Deep Dive into the Technology
Step 1
We studied compressor operation in detail — from air intake to the release of compressed gas — to translate complex engineering processes into clear visual metaphors.
Concept Development
Step 2
We turned the letter “V” into a diagram of movement. The shape conveys airflow, colour gradients reflect changes in matter states, and the square element embodies the final compression - the brand’s promise of precision and efficiency.
Graphic System Design
Step 3
We created a strong, modular design system: a solid typeface for reliability, a dynamic gradient for circulation, and a repeating geometric element for cohesion and adaptability.
Style Adaptation
Step 4
We produced a comprehensive brand guide, ensuring the new visual system remains clear, recognizable, and consistent across every medium — from official documents to industrial equipment.
"We designed a logo that explains technology. Every detail carries meaning — together they form not just an aesthetic, but a tool of communication that reinforces Veltex’s position as an expert brand."
A completebrand identity was created for Veltex — built around a functional, meaningful logo that accurately reflects the company’s technological core and progressive spirit.
