Branding for One of the Largest Pool Complexes in Europe — Santorini

Client
Santorini is a countryside residence and one of the largest pool complexes in Europe, inspired by the aesthetics of the Greek island of the same name. Spanning nearly 10,000 m², it features 1,500 m² of water space with five outdoor pools (including a children’s pool) and an Aqua Bar.

Targeting a mid- to premium-segment audience, Santorini positions itself as "a vacation abroad within city limits" and serves as a flagship project in the southern Russia leisure industry.
Challenge
The client approached us with a task to create the image of a summer residence inspired by the Greek island of Santorini, along with a modern brand identity that would:

  • Integrate seamlessly with the club’s architecture and interiors
  • Evoke associations with seaside relaxation and the Mediterranean lifestyle
  • Adapt easily across multiple touchpoints — from print materials to pool branding
  • Remain timeless and relevant for years to come
Solution
We developed a minimalist and flexible visual language built around Santorini’s signature symbols — the sun, sea wave, and the letter "S".

The brand palette draws from the iconic white and blue tones of Greek architecture, while vibrant orange serves as an energetic accent that reflects the festive, sun-filled atmosphere of the venue.

The result is a clean, distinctive, and commercially versatile design that feels both premium and approachable.
Execution
  • Analysing the environment and atmosphere
    Step 1
    We studied the architecture and interior design of Santorini to ensure the identity integrated organically into the space. Every brand element was crafted to align with the club’s positioning and aesthetic.
  • Logo and graphic design
    Step 2
    We created a sleek logo combining the sun, waves, and the letter S — symbols of water, energy, and harmony. The logo naturally fit into all brand touchpoints.
  • Brand colour palette
    Step 3
    The palette centres on white and blue as an homage to Greek style, with orange as the emotional highlight of the brand.
  • Spatial identity
    Step 4
    We designed visuals for all communication touchpoints — from navigation and print materials to souvenirs and décor.
  • Pool branding
    Step 5
    A key creative feature was the application of brand graphics directly to the pool floors — a unique solution that enhanced the site’s visual identity and created striking imagery for social media.
  • Brandbook and adaptive system
    Step 6
    We developed a comprehensive brandbook detailing flexible identity applications across all media — from posters and merchandise to interior elements.
Results
For over seven years, the Santorini visual identity has remained relevant and impactful, continuously reinforcing the brand’s premium positioning.
