How We Met and the Task
We invited Igor Mann to speak at our charity conference «General Meeting of Directors» (more details in the OSD case) and received his agreement. During preparation, it became clear that despite his vast expertise and numerous books, Igor Mann did not have a personal brand identity or brand book unifying his communications.

We proposed developing this style.
Solution
The personal brand identity for Igor Mann was a project we approached with triple focus.
Inspired by his books and training programs, we created a minimalist yet meaningful logo. It’s clear and reflects the marketer’s uniqueness:
I am Igor Mann. I am number 1.

It all started with a detailed briefing and studying all of Igor Mann’s materials. We searched for a metaphor to capture:
  • Igor Mann is not just an author, speaker, and consultant
  • Igor Mann is #1 at what he does
  • Igor Mann helps others become #1
This idea is reflected in his book: «Number 1: How to Become the Best at What You Do»

The «#1» concept became the foundation for the logo.
We presented only one option for approval because we were 100% confident in it. That confidence was immediately supported by the client. Here’s what Igor Mann said about the logo himself:

Personal Branding: Why?

To unify all communications into one information space, making all Igor Mann’s marketing services (offline and online) easily identifiable.

To create a recognizable image matching his established reputation, supporting and strengthening it.
